Meet Our Coaches
Baris Akbulut
Founder
Baris started playing volleyball in middle school and competed at the club level for five years in Turkey. With over nine years of coaching experience in club volleyball, he has worked with high-caliber athletes, both boys and girls, who have gone on to play at the Division 1 and 2 levels.
Nicholas Lee
Founder
Nicholas has been coaching volleyball for more than 8 years, working with athletes at volleyball clubs, local schools, and through private off-season training. With 10+ years of experience playing in adult leagues and tournaments, he brings both skill and passion to the game. His focus is on developing strong fundamentals, helping players improve, and making sure they enjoy the sport along the way.
Lawrence Liu
Executive
Lawrence has been coaching volleyball for more than 7 years with experience coaching High School Boys, Club Volleyball girls from 13u to 16u at the Division 1 and 2 levels and most recently winning City and Regional Championships at the High School Girls level. He is an NCCP certified volleyball coach and still plays volleyball locally.

Welcome to Kinetic Volleyball Club, founded by Baris and Nicholas, who bring over 25+ years of coaching experience in clubs and high schools. We recognized a significant gap in access to experienced coaching for many young athletes who can’t make it to traditional volleyball clubs teams. Our mission is to bridge this gap by offering high-quality coaching to more athletes, particularly during the off-season. At Kinetic Volleyball Club, we are dedicated to making expert training accessible, helping every player reach their full potential and fostering a love for the game.
